Event Recap: Wings of Hope Gala 2025

On April 11th, 2025, over 300 supporters stepped up to the plate at The Revaire in Houston for our Wings of Hope Gala: Take Me Out to the Ballgame—and what an unforgettable night it was!

Dressed in their favorite baseball team gear, guests came together for an evening full of heart, generosity, and community. We were honored to welcome the beloved “Rally Nuns”—the Dominican Sisters of Mary Immaculate Province—whose joyful spirit energized the entire room.

The true stars of the evening were our three Focus Families—the Dougharty Family, Ramierez Family, and Smith Family—whose stories brought our mission to life. Their journeys, made possible through wheelchair access, van conversions, and respite care, reflect the very heart of Be An Angel. We were also proud to be joined by other Special Angel Families whose presence made the night even more meaningful.

The event was a celebration of compassion in action. Thanks to Heath Hale and his Cowboy Auctioneer team, our live auction helped us achieve an incredible milestone—raising nearly three-quarters of a million dollars in one night.
