Our History

In 2022, we expanded Be An Angel into the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex with the opening of our DFW Chapter. Our goal is to serve the needs of North Texas physically and medically fragile children and their families by providing a wide range of equipment, services and programs to improve their day-to-day lives. We currently have a small group of founders who live in the DFW area who are committed to contributing their time, energy and financial resources to help children in need.

Barrier-Free Playgrounds

We have a long history of building barrier-free playgrounds that give special needs children and those with multiple handicaps the ability to play and enjoy getting out on a playground that is designed for them and their unique needs.

To date, we have installed 36 of these playgrounds in Houston and DFW, including at the Jo Kelly School in Fort Worth.

Our Christmas Gift Program

Each year for the past 12 years, we have provided $40 in gifts to over 5,100 children from 332 schools in 30 different school districts, including North Texas

If you know a special needs child or school that could benefit from our help, please explore our programs and let them know to register with us online. We know we can provide a positive change to a special angel in your life.
