Be An Angel featured in Hood County News: "Gifts from Angels: GISD Receives 70,000 Grant for Special Education Equipment"
We’re honored to share some exciting news recently featured in Hood County News. On September 20, 2025, staff writer Chloe Laing published an article titled “Gifts from Angels: GISD Receives $70,000 Grant for Special Education Equipment.”
As highlighted in the article, this grant from Be An Angel provided Granbury ISD with seven activity chairs and two gait walkers—specialized equipment that makes a tremendous difference in the daily lives of children with special needs.These tools not only support mobility and participation, but also help students experience greater independence, comfort, and inclusion in their classrooms.
