November 13th- 17th – Help shop!

Be An Angel will be shopping for children at various shopping locations

Each child has an individual wish list and Be An Angel funds the purchase of all of the gifts

  • Assist at the end of the checkout line to help bag toys, zip tie and place bags in bins
  • Transport bags via cart from the store to the trailer in the parking lot
  • 8:00am-5:00pm every day

November 13th

December 13th – Decorate gift bags

  • Be Creative! We will be decorating the bags to give each one a festive appearance
  • Materials such as stickers and bows will be available or you can bring your own

  • 9am – 6pm

December 14th – Help Deliver!

  • We will be delivering the gifts to the schools we serve throughout the greater Houston area
  • Volunteers select schools to deliver gifts – transport in their private vehicles
  • A map showing address and directions will be provided
  • George R. Brown Convention Center, 1001 Avenida De Las Americas, Houston, TX 77010
  • 7:30am-12:30pm (or until distribution is complete)


Weekends starting soon! Be An Angel Train, Train Drivers and Donation Collectors  

  • Each weekend beginning soon, the Be An Angel Train will make continuous trips in a circle around and through Old Town Spring carrying passengers that have donated to support the special needs children we serve.
  • Two person teams are needed to drive the train and collect funds. The train is a John Deere lawn mower with an accelerator clutch (just push the accelerator and it goes) and is easy to start, stop, drive, and navigate. Saturday times are from 10am to 5pm. Sundays are from 1pm to 5pm.
  • We welcome service clubs, parent/child groups, school or church organizations!
