| The Second Annual Angel Awards Gala honoring four outstanding Houstonians dedicated to helping children was a resounding success. The event raised $180,000 while RBC Wealth Management, White Oak Energy, Momentum Jaguar, Memorial Hermann, KSEV and other sponsors covered the entire cost of the evening. |

The Angel Awards, a special gala benefitting Be An Angel, was held Friday, April 9, 2010 at The Crystal Ballroom. Our second annual Angel Awards honored four deserving Houstonians who have dedicated themselves to serving children in need:
- Dr. Mark Kline, J.S. Abercrombie Professor & Chair Department of Pediatrics, Baylor College of Medicine, Physician-In-Chief, Texas Children's Hospital
- John Mendelsohn, M.D., President, The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center
